Make sure you have your system locale set to Japanese first.
Inside some of these compressed folders, there are files written in Japanese. If you extract the folder without Japanese encoding, the files will not be appropriately named.
The reason why this is a problem is that the game will not be able to locate the game files, causing an error message to pop up (usually as soon as you start the game).

Step 1: Right-click on the compressed folder and select “Extract Files”
Step 2: Press “CTRL + E” on the Winrar page and it will pop-up the encoding menu. Select the “932 (ANSI/OEM – Japanese Shift-JIS)” option.
