for those that get the infinite loading screen, when using WinRAR hit control and e to pull up a list of languages and set it to Japanese before extracting.
I’m using 7zip and encountering the infinite loading screen. What do I do?

sorry my winrar don’t have that contol and e thingy. I tried to use the older version of winrar but it disn’t work on window 10 build from 2020 or above. I owned two laptop. one ran win 10 build 2018 and one is still on 2020 build. the old winrar on 2018 build win 10 is working but same winrar old version but used on 2020 build win10 didn’t work with control and e. anyway to fix it.

It’s pretty obvious this is a giant Konosuba reference, and yet…
Well, the thing that makes Konosuba likable is the characters. Sure, they’re all horribly flawed, but at the end of the day they’re fun, likable characters.
This game ruins that reference by having only horrible, unlikable characters.
Maybe the gameplay could bring it back? Though… with how much you’d need to grind if you weren’t cheating, I can’t see it being anything but horribly tedious.
I really wish this game was good, I do, but unfortunately not all wishes come true…

i kind of liked this game. i had the same grindy feeling you are talking about so i tempered with the code a little bit (can be done with “note pad”) to start at level 999 instead of 1 and enjoyed the game like any other normal game
Okay. I’m glad you enjoyed it, but why did you enjoy it? Imo the characters are… well, you can see my opinion on them in my first post. I’ll elaborate if you want, though.

Personally I do care about characters. If they’re completely unlikable assholes, how are they gonna get me hard? Hot =/= good character.
Agreed, I absolutely hated the characters to an alarming degree, to the point of which I avoided as many interactions with them as possible. Sadly, you can’t progress through boss battles without them (unless you’re willing to grind for 5 hours), so I had to suffer through their shitty personalities, but I still enjoyed the enemies. There were about three characters I’ve run into so far, the Fairy, Spider, and Succubus, that, despite being enemies, were actually better compared to the 3 party members that literally enjoy your and everyone else’s suffering.

I think the devs just really did sadism wrong. There’s sadism, and then there’s just being an unbearable asshole. The characters unfortunately fall on the wrong end of the spectrum.

talk about overkill, every character treats you like shit to the point it makes it really hard to enjoy the hentai scenes.
Yeah to be honest i was really trying to enjoy the game but it just kinda made me hate it with the whole parody of konosuba thing i love that show so making all the parody char either nympho sadist or bullied masochist hurts.

I went digging through the game files to see the scenes, after I beat the game.
I’m not sure if I’m missing something, like an optional dungeon or if I just didn’t see some of these enemies, but I’m noticing a lot of images of characters that aren’t in the game.
I saw a harpy, a cute kind of pirate looking cat girl, Medusa, and a whole lot of characters I just didn’t see in my playthrough.
I’m also noticing some animations for characters that just don’t seem to play. I think I saw the one eyed girl, the robot girl, Hellhound, I think?
I swear to god the initial Car Crash caught me off guard. What a Hilarious intro, straight to the point my goodness

I think the art is pretty alright but everything else is just a waste of your time. It easily could have been a visual novel because this gameplay is there just to pad the whole thing out. It even more easily could have been a CG pack because this story was probably written by an AI that was only fed Konosuba and tag name list from nhentai. I honestly read through some scenes and couldn’t wrap up my mind about what was the logic behind the scene. It’s just nonsensical.
This has been driving me crazy and I hope someone can help. In the town early in the game, there is a secret path in the map (if you go right before you enter the town gate, then up the stairs to the town wall), which leads to the “secret hideout” of D Ko, the company’s mascot. D Ko challenges you to find her in 3 different spots in town. She’s hiding as a tree near the top left part of the town. She’s hiding as a box near the bottom right of town. Where the hell is the third hiding spot???
